Project Summary
Plant Forward on the Prairies, is the premier global conference where leaders in food, agriculture, investment, and research converge to shape the future of sustainable, plant-based innovation. Hosted in Saskatoon, at the heart of Canada’s agricultural powerhouse, the event offers delegates from North America, Europe and Asia unparalleled access to the country’s world-class ecosystem spanning crop diversity, advanced processing, and sustainable food production.
Over three days of networking, exhibitions, and strategic discussions, over 300 participants will discover why Canada is emerging as the world’s partner of choice for functional, nutritious, and secure ingredient supply chains, advancing global food security and accelerating international collaboration across the agrifood value chain.
Past conferences were held at The Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto in November 2022 and April 2024. Plant Forward on the Prairies marks the third edition and the first time that the biannual Plant Forward—Canada’s flagship conference for plant-based food and ingredient innovation—will be held in Saskatoon.
